A door lets you enter and exit any place or a room and is the most important part of any house. It also acts as a security guard, so when you are not at home your door is there to protect your valuables. A door is also important as it gives you privacy so that you are not interfered or disturbed by others. The doors can either be made for commercial, residential or business purposes.

The most important door in a house is the entry door that has to be strong and at the same time it has to be attractive. You can use sidelights to enhance the look of your entry door. The entry door can either be single or double door depending on the personal requirement. If a partition of a room is required then bi fold doors are utilized. The bi fold doors can also be used in patio or decks as well in order to have large opening of the outdoor.

The main types of the doors are wooden, glass, aluminum or other metal doors. The wooden doors are used for increased privacy and are mostly used in bedrooms. The glass doors either with wood or aluminum or other metals are mostly used as patio doors. The purpose of the glass door is that you can see the outdoor activities while remaining inside of the house. There are garage doors too that have become quite advanced with the advancement in technology. The Sliding and the French Doors are also main types of doors.
